Privacy policy of the website

Rock & Code VoF ("Röck+Cöde"), a boutique mobile development and digital marketing studio under Dutch law with office at at Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 169 H, 1012 RK, Amsterdam, registered under number KvK 34368007, is committed to safeguarding the privacy of the visitors to its website rock-n-code.com (the “Site”). This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) sets out the terms on which Röck+Cöde processes any personal data (i.e. data relating to an identified or identifiable individual) relating to you, as a visitor of the Site, either because Röck+Cöde collects this data from you or because you provide it directly to Röck+Cöde. In doing so, Röck+Cöde acts as controller in the sense of the law.

Until 24 May 2018, the above processing is subject to the Dutch Law of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy with regard to the processing of personal data, as modified by the law of 11 December 1998 transposing Directive 95/46/EC.

As from 25 May 2018, the above processing shall be subject to EU Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (the “GDPR”).

By using the Site, you acknowledge that you are aware of such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate. This Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time. Any significant changes to this Privacy Policy will be clearly indicated on the Site's home page.

1. Which information does Röck+Cöde collect?

1.1 IP addresses and basic identification data

When you visit the Site, Röck+Cöde's server will record your IP address together with the date, time and duration of your visit. An IP address is an assigned number, which allows your computer to communicate over the Internet. It enables Röck+Cöde to identify which organisations have visited the Site.

Röck+Cöde will also record other electronic identification data, information on hardware and software location data (where available), information regarding your browser, device, operating system and platform.

1.2 Logs and Cookies

Röck+Cöde is collecting and processing information regarding the browsing by visitors on the Site via its logging system.

2. How Röck+Cöde uses this information

2.1 IP addresses, basic identification data, logs and cookies

Röck+Cöde only uses this information for specific purposes based on its legitimate interest, which consists in administering its website and in preventing fraud and abuse thereof, and in particular: to compile statistical data on the use of the Site;

(ii) to enable Röck+Cöde to evaluate and improve the Site and tailor it to the visitors’ needs; and

All email messages sent to and from Röck+Cöde may be monitored to ensure compliance with internal policies and to protect Röck+Cöde's interests.
